‘Mabel’ has a wealth of beautiful, feminine, forties detailing. The ruffle of the waterfall wrap skirt can both conceal problem areas and lend sweeping curves to those who previously had none. The darted waist can be cinched in with the integral bow tie belt at the back, or worn looser for a softer fit. Lots of tiny fabric buttons adorn the centre front of the dress and two more shape its gently puffed sleeves.

The ‘Mabel Dress’ is a “Seamstress of Bloomsbury” Original. If you love vintage design and detailing these garments offer you absolutely authentic quality and 1940’s style. Often exact reproductions of top class true vintage items, they are made to your size, perfect and brand new. The authentic Rayon Crepe de Chine fabric drapes beautifully and feels very much like silk, however, it is easy to care for and can be hand washed or even machine washed on a delicate cycle.
