The upper section features a full-width top display shelf above a central single-door cupboard with further display shelves on each side. This sits on the beautifully finished work surface that has ample space for a fruit bowl or a vase of fresh flowers along with treasured ornaments. The lower storage section features two central drawers with a single-shelved cupboard on the left and a similar cupboard without a shelf on the right. This lovely dresser is made using solid oak for the framework with oak-veneered panels and plywood back panels and drawer sections.

Our restoration workshop has stripped the original varnish from this dresser before applying a matt lacquer that enhances the colour and grain of the oak. Our professional lacquered finish also provides a good level of protection in everyday use, although care is required when placing hot or sharp items and we always recommend the use of mats and coasters to avoid future damage. The dimensions show the total height of this dresser followed in brackets by the height of the work surface.

With its practical storage and rustic character this dresser will complement a range of decorating and furnishing styles and be a much-admired family piece for many years to come.
