Stereo Hybrid ONE55 C:68X SLT 750 29 2023 | All mountain

When it comes to ultimate all-mountain riding fun, this bike opens up new horizons for you. Its name: Stereo Hybrid ONE55 C:68X SLT 750 29, its appearance: revolutionary! It hits the trails with our lightest intube carbon frame for E-Fullys to date, plus a geometry that couldn't be more progressive. The result is merciless trail performance off-road, uphill and downhill. The electronic Eagle AXS XX1 12-speed gears from Sram work harmoniously with the fourth-generation Bosch CX motor (with 750 Wh battery) - for perfectly dosed propulsion, plenty of range and clean, smooth gear changes, all (trail) day long. With such a powerful set-up, the Newmen Advanced wheels are a must, of course, on which we have mounted Schwalbe Magic Mary and 2.4 inch Nobby Nic tires. Powerful braking maneuvers are thanks to the high-performance hydraulic MT7 disc brakes from Magura with large rotors. And because we have installed aFox 36 Factory Grip2 suspension fork with a matching Float X Factory shock absorber and a retractable seat post, you always retain full control downhill, even in extremely rough terrain.

Low weight, high speed, complete integration - in short: the new Stereo Hybrid ONE55 C:68X. Up to six different types of fiber are used in this chassis to meet the specific requirements of the different frame segments. The result is our lightest intube e-mountain bike frame ever (a full 20% lighter than the Stereo Hybrid 140 frame). At the same time, it is super stiff and stable and offers, as expected, a sensational riding experience. The adjustable steering angle and a longer reach ensure handling that will delight ambitious riders in particular. This lets you master the most demanding lines with confidence, even at top speeds, also because the bike literally sticks to the trail thanks to the progressive 150 mm suspension travel at the rear. The cables run completely inside the frame, which keeps gear shifting clean and reduces maintenance to a minimum. And you can control your bike via Bluetooth and the optional remote using the new Bosch controller neatly integrated into the top tube. Conclusion: an off-road powerhouse like it says in the books.

God reweaves the coat of many colors
Format: Paperback
Excellent booklet of 51 pages. Small size and I’m including this as holiday gifts 2025 as presents this year. Satan weaves a mess and God reweaves it for something good.

If you want to be super productive then start here
Format: Paperback
I have been coding and implementing productivity processes for thirty years and I still found "The Art of Clean Code" engaging and valuable. I've done almost everything in the book, yet like many who have been in the field for a while, the refresher was timely. My work now is vastly different from my work in the '90's, and even what I was doing in the '80's. While the book uses Python examples the code is easy to read and applicable anywhere. Most of the guidelines given even benefit daily life, not just coding. Highly recommended!

Unimpressive
Format: Paperback
This book is very much part of hustle culture. Each chapter contains a shallow dip into a programming principle followed by a metaphorical application of the principle to your career. "10x your income by maximizing your productivity and earning while you learn through a Python side hustle! Here is one anecdotal example of someone who got rich after two months! Sign up for my course and you can do it too!" I don't doubt Dr. Mayer's own expertise, but this is not really a book about coding; it's a book about hustling, and its main purpose seems to be to sell Dr. Mayer's course. What disappoints me is that this book seems to be offered in bad faith. Dr. Mayer may be a true believer, but he probably knows that the vast majority of side hustlers won't make much money, and he probably knows the the tech bro culture around programming is a separate thing from software design per se. I'm equally disappointed in No Starch. I have loved their books up till now; they let us down with this one.
