The Newage® HP Series hand held durometers are ideal for hand held hardness testing of rubber, elastomers and plastic samples. In addition to determining hardness, we also offer models for determining density and elasticity.
These precision instruments conform to ASTM D2240. HP durometers are available for A, B, C, D, DO, O and OO scales. HP durometers have a frictionless movement ensuring precision hardness measurement and a circular frustrum cone indenter. A peak indicator is standard on all HP durometers with all measurement indicated on a scale from 0 to 100.
